About Wyngate
Wyngate Commons (2006) is located on the North side of Draper about a mile East of the I-15 Freeway. There are 3 home styles available ( NORMANDY, BRITTANY, MARSEILLE) ranging between 2100-2600 square feet each. The beautiful earth-tones of the community mix beautifully with a view of the Wasatch mountains only about 4 miles away. Strike up a barbecue! Enjoy a quiet evening with friends at the pavillion. Play a little hoop at the basketball court. Let the children enjoy the swings and amenities at the playground. Or, just take a stroll around the neighborhood. Wyngate is a private community that values a safe, serene environment along with friendships and community.
2009-10 Letter From the Board
Dear Wyngate Residents (and Possible Future Residents),
We are now on our 4th year acting as a fully-functional HOA, and we would like to thank the members of our community for all the hard work and effort over the first year. Marcello Surjopolos did an amazing job as our last HOA President, and his legacy lives on in the efforts and work now being done to take our community to the next level.
Each year, the Wyngate HOA Board focuses on certain goals. We’d like to take a moment to let you know what our 2009-10 goals are and encourage each resident to find ways to help us reach these goals and sustain them.
1. Rules and Regulations
The Rules and Regulations for Wyngate Commons were defined and published last year and the HOA this year, would like to continue to emphasize compliance. The Rules and Regulations Committee is responsible for not only listening to the thoughts and suggestions of community members, but also finding the fairest way to meet the needs of the neighborhood.
2. Community Involvement Committee
The goals of this committee are to improve communication and interaction within the community. As such, quarterly newsletters/reminders will be distributed door-to-door. In addition, this Wyngate Commons website as been set up to disseminate information and the Submission Form page should be used to provide a means of submitting questions, complaints, suggestions, repair needs, and other various communications with board members.
Packets were assembled for new Move-ins although the Board has had difficulty learning of new community members so they can provide a proper welcome. The help of the community is requested on this goal. Introduce yourself to your new neighbors and send their names to the Board in person or by using a submission.
The tradition of an annual Summer Community BBQ was established and will continue to be a goal of this committee.
3. Gated-Community Committee
The HOA Board will continue to look at the possibility of Wyngate Commons becoming a gated community. This has become an overwhelming project and though bids were obtained on cost, the permits with Draper City have not been pursued. The process for getting city approval, drawing up plans, and raising funds is a lengthy process. A gated community would increase the value of our property as well as improve safety and protect our neighborhood.
Our goal, as a Board and as a community, is to finalize practices and procedures and implement where possible the efforts put forth by our committees. It is A LOT of work and it is ongoing. We welcome and encourage your input! We would like to thank all our leaders who are taking time (on a purely volunteer basis with no compensation) to make this happen and help our neighborhood be a better place to live.
We look forward to a wonderful year!
Cheers,
The Wyngate HOA Board
